Big Ideas, Real Impact
Can you…
we will…
What if our physical space can be changed in ways that allow more people in our community to encounter the love of Jesus? Now is the time to renovate our space and remove barriers to God's hospitality. A capital campaign is underway to meet these needs.
Imagine a community so committed to the care of their neighbors that they will dismantle a space and create a new way for those in need of healing to meet Jesus. In Luke’s gospel, a group of friends does just this, so that one among them might come near enough to Jesus to be healed. Luke tells that Jesus is surrounded by a crowd too large to move through, and so a group of friends carries a man who is paralyzed up onto the roof of the room where Jesus is teaching and lowers him down. Jesus indeed speaks healing words over the paralyzed man, who then stands up and walks home, glorifying God and leaving the witnesses amazed.
can we…
Ware’s Chapel has become a sanctuary for many seeking a church home where love is tangible. With the rapid growth we've experienced over the past two years, we are positioned to make a significant impact on our community. This growth presents physical challenges to our mission of expanding God's love and hospitality. As a Lighthouse Congregation of the United Methodist Church, we welcome everyone and foster community both inside and outside our walls.

MAKING ROOM FOR WHAT GOD IS DOING
Ware's Chapel is an inclusive community of faith extending the compassion of Christ with generous hearts. At Ware’s Chapel, we believe God’s love is transformational. We believe that God’s call for us as a local church is to embody the core values we know in the ministry of Jesus: inclusivity, compassion, and generosity. Ware’s Chapel is deeply invested in not only thriving as a people of faith but also in the vitality of our local community and ministries of justice toward the care of our neighbors. We believe wholeheartedly in the legacy of love Ware’s Chapel is creating as a United Methodist Church in Beaufort County. We must make room in both our hearts and our literal, physical space to receive others. Let us join together in a witness to God’s work among us.
