Children’s ministry
Ware’s Chapel is deeply committed to nurturing the faith, curiosity, and joy of our youngest disciples. We strive to create a safe, welcoming, and Spirit-centered space where children feel loved, valued, and invited to grow in God’s family.
Nursery & Children’s Playroom:
A warm, dedicated environment designed for infants through early elementary ages. Our volunteers provide attentive care, playful learning, and age-appropriate activities.Children in Worship:
Kids are encouraged to participate fully in worship. Each child receives a bag with fidgets, coloring pages, and other quiet activities to help them engage comfortably during the service.Safe Sanctuaries Commitment:
Safe Sanctuaries volunteers are always present to ensure the highest standards of safety and care for every child, every week.Learning & Faith Formation:
Periodic lessons, stories, and hands-on activities invite children to explore Bible stories, prayer, and the love of Jesus in ways that connect naturally to their everyday lives.Special Events & Seasonal Gatherings:
From Back-to-School fun days to summer camp, children enjoy regular events that build community and deepen their experience of God’s love.
Youth ministry
Our Youth Ministry encourages middle and high school students to grow as disciples, serve their neighbors, ask big questions, and build meaningful friendships rooted in Christ. It’s a place where young people can be fully themselves while being shaped by faith.
Youth Group Gatherings:
Regular meet-ups for fellowship, games, conversation, and shared spiritual growth. A place to unwind, belong, and explore faith together.Missional Work & Service Projects:
Youth serve both the local community and beyond, through food ministries, outreach projects, and hands-on mission opportunities that help put God’s love into action.Retreats & Spiritual Formation:
Annual retreats and special weekends offer time for rest, reflection, worship, and building deeper connections with one another and with God.Youth Participation in Worship:
Young people are encouraged to serve as Communion servers, readers, musicians, tech helpers, and leaders, enriching the worship life of the entire congregation.Faith, Friendship, and Fun:
Social events, group outings, and shared meals help youth build strong relationships while discovering what it means to follow Jesus in community.
